Jason Jeffries
Coach - 2031/2032; Recruiting Coordinator
Jason "JJ" is a native of Alexandria, VA and played college lacrosse at Lynchburg College from 1998 to 2001. JJ was a team captain at Lynchburg in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. Upon graduating from Lynchburg, he stayed on as an Assistant Coach from 2002 to 2003 and lead the program to their first-ever ODAC Championship in 2003. In 2004 to 2005, JJ became an Assistant Coach position at Lake Braddock HS in Burke, VA, and was then named the Head Coach at Edison HS in Alexandria, VA in 2006 where he coached until 2016. In 2012, 2013, and 2015 JJ was named Coach of the Year as the Head Coach of Edison HS. He was then named the Assistant Coach at Westfield HS in the 2017 season and then Head Coach at Centreville HS in Clifton, VA from 2018 to 2021. He is the current Head Coach at Lucy Beckham and lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife and daughter.
JJ has coached club lacrosse from 2006 to 2018 for Madlax Capital and Madlax National teams where he coached the 2016 and 2020 grad years. Over 40 of his players in those grad years went on to play college lacrosse. He also coached for Virginia Elite Lacrosse club from 2018 to 2021.
JJ is excited to be in Charleston with his family and be able to coach and mentor the players at Charleston Elite.
